University of California–Irvine Smart-Grid project

Design of a SunPower 50kW PV-Solar system installed over a new steel Canopy atop the 7th level of the existing Anteater Parking Structure. In addition, 20-Electric Vehicle charging stations are installed inside the parking structure at the ground level. Also a custom integrated Smart Inverter and Battery Storage System (BESS) is designed to connect the PV Solar system and the EV charging stations to UC-Irvine’s micro-grid.
